Il testo che ne descrive la vita  e il pensiero venne pubblicato nella citt\u00e0 ligure nel 1551; esso \u00e8 diviso in tre  parti:  la <em>Vita<\/em> propriamente detta,  la <em>Dimostratione et dechiaratione<\/em> <em>del purgatorio<\/em> &#8211; pi\u00f9 nota come <em>Trattato<\/em> &#8211; e il <em>Dialogo  tra l\u2019anima e il corpo<\/em><a name=\"_ftnref1\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vatican.va\/holy_father\/benedict_xvi\/audiences\/2011\/documents\/hf_ben-xvi_aud_20110112_it.html#_ftn1\">[1]<\/a>.
